I add the Sources not from the Profile view (you're right about nightmare) but rather as their own entities and then add the referenced people from there. I also like the "To Dos" and the Notes area (I especially use the Notes area of a source to put in Transcripts of newspaper articles or letters). After a few false starts, I've learned to embrace Sources (which, frankly, are almost the most important part), Locations, and the Gallery.
